Book review

Thirty-six-year-old Julien Lane’s journalistic career is in a downward spiral. Three times divorced and in chronic pain, Julien embarks on a spiritual quest to improve her mental and physical health. She soon becomes aware that she possesses the uncanny ability to communicate with important people in her life whom she had believed to be dead, but who are in fact very much alive, though on a different plane. She enters a world of thought communication, where the essence of a person remains and the soul lives on. Traveling to the next world to meet with those who have gone before her, Julien receives poignant and significant messages about the philosophy of life. When Julien herself tragically drowns, she learns that Heaven is a place of learning and healing and she finds out how to finally become one with the Creator.
